I'm looking to get the ball rolling and encourage some communication on the forums before I actually launch the site, and as such, I'd love to invite the community to join for free and even receive a couple of freebies I picked up while doing some marketing for work. There's a fantastic ebook worth $40 that you can download for free that claims to save you thousands. Not sure how accurate that is in practice, but I've read it and it is actually really good... and really very free!

We had a low budget and bought lots of great things for relatively cheap but do need to make some money back if possible.

tons of silver curly ting branches great for center pieces

save on crafts cupcake tree that holds 300 cupcakes(largest size they sell)

& probably quite a few other things.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask about this but I'm really struggling.
I'm having a fairly low-budget wedding set for October 22nd. We have most things sorted out, handmade invites, handmade favours and so on.

My dilema is that my mum is making my wedding cake as she makes the most gorgeous rich fruit cake but we have no idea what's teh best thing to ice it with. We are thinking roll-out icing as she has never iced a cake before so can anyone give me some tips on what's the best?

I saw someone post a sale ad...i'm a lurker here lol...but haven't posted much.

I was hoping that somone on here might have a cupcake stand/tower for sale. I can't seem to find one under $40(and those are cardboard)..so if you have one you are wanting to get rid of/sell i'd be more than interested.

I was wondering if anyone planned to have an interpreter for their wedding? Or has ever attended one with an interpreter? My parents are both deaf as are a few of my Aunts and Uncles. I'm trying to figure out where an interpreter could stand so my guests could see both me AND the interpreter. I'm probably going to say and sign my vows and possibly teach my fiancé to do the same but I'd like to have someone interpret the rest.

Any thoughts/ideas/experience to share?
